Calender of Events
- ACLS classes are given on Friday & Saturday monthly.
- BLS – Healthcare Provider Classes are given on Thursday’s.
- BLS – Heartsaver Classes are given on Tuesday’s.
- Instructor Orientation Classes are given each Monday.
- PALS classes will be offered according to demand and will be scheduled for Friday & Saturday.
Please note: that all classes are subject to change, due to the number of students.
AHA requires that students taking a certified AHA course should have a book before, during and after each class.

Monitoring
Instructors, who would like to be monitored for the 2009-2010 instruction years, may contact the Training Center. Remember that you can download the Instructor monitoring form from the “Forms” link.
Instructor Announcements
It’s that time of the year!
INSTRUCTOR RECERTIFICATION
- Maintain current Provider Status
- As evidenced by current Provider Card or demonstration of acceptable provide skills as documented by the Critical Skills Checklist and successful completion of the Provider written examination.
- Teach a minimum of 4 documented courses in 2 years.
- Be monitored teaching
- A regular or renewal course in the preceding 2 years. The first monitoring after the initial Instructor Course does not satisfy this requirement. Use the Instructor Monitor Form to document.
- Attend updates
- Updates may address new course content or methodology and review TC, regional and national ECC information. Instructor Updates are mandatory

There is no grace period for Instructor recertification. Be sure that you have satisfied all the above requirements so you can maintain your Instructor Certification.
